Just a fun spring flower bouquet…
We can’t always get these lovely creamy cottage roses, but these are gorgeous! Simple bridal posy with trailing ivy around.
A simple mix bouquet of white and green flowers – oriental lily, mini gerbera, hypericum, button chrysanthemum, and disbud chrysanthemum with lush foliage.
Portrait of an orange rose we have been able to get in from time to timeΒ – we think it’s called ‘radiance’. Gorgeous colour!
We often get requests for specific items to be made up in silk flowers – this one was a little while ago for a local Parkwood business. Lovely artificial roses, peonies and hydrangea mixed with real dried bark and twisted willow stems, arranged in silver tins.
We love the opportunity to do interesting things, like this long and low corporate reception display for an event at Broadbeach, on the Gold Coast .
This arrangement includes purple vanda orchids, lotus pods, white anthuriums, white hypericum berries, purple stock, tetragona nuts, & tropical leaves.
Another delivery going out to someone special on the beautiful Gold Coast. We hope they like it!
Arrangement includes wattle, orange, pink and green roses, green erica, burgundy snap-dragons and if you look closely there are magnolia branches in the high parts, with buds.
When there’s some short stems left on the bench at the end of the day, what do you do? Play, of course, while tidying up and putting on a record of Mr BublΓ©.
This tiny creation is one such play:
Standing no more than 10cm tall, this little jug arrangement features effervescent yellow spray roses, purple delphinium buds, wattle and thryptomene sprigs and off-cuts of spinning gum.
Iris are unusual flowers, we like them for their uniqueness, as well as the fact that they come in the wonderful colours of blue and purple! What we don’t like about them is that we wished they would last a little longer! Although, some varieties do send up a second flower so you get a double show! Yay!
In terms of meaning, our ancient book of flowers lists Iris (particularly blue iris) as meaning: ‘My Compliments, I have a message for you.’ which we think is a very wonderful and appropriate meaning!
At the last minute we were asked to create these 4 large arrangements for a wedding chapel. The shop was left in a mess but the arrangements came out quite lovely!
This bright and tropical presentation sheaf is rather large and outrageous, but sometimes that’s just what you need!
Experimenting with ideas for how to use these funky candle vases…orchids floating in water came to mind, but there must be lots of possibilities!
Some weeks ago we were asked to do a very special white heart wreath with a feature.
Flowers used: disbuds, Polaris and daisy chrysanthemums, freesias, arum lilies. Size: approx. 80cm across.
