This is a flower order we fulfilled recently, a pretty pastel bouquet. For ease of transport and presentation we will sometimes use or offer our customers these neat ‘cardboard vases’.
If the bouquet will be at a hospital or similar place, it is very handy – particularly if you don’t want to send something permanent such as a glass vase. The vase is lined with thick plastic, so it can hold water and keep the bouquet hydrated for a couple of days with no problems.
Large or small, pretty, or bold and vibrant – our job is to create beautiful flowers for any occasion. If you have something particular in mind, just let us know and we’ll do our best.
Here is an example of a bespoke pretty bouquet in a vase, going out for delivery.
This year, 2019, Mother’s Day in Australia fall on Sunday 12th May. Get your orders in and make mum happy with a bunch of fresh flowers delivered from your local florist.
Check out our online shop, or even better – pop in to our real brick-and-mortar florist shop in Parkwood – you can park right out the front!
Some beautiful tones that are getting chosen more often over the last year are burgundy with complimentary colours. Burgundy can look especially striking with deep pink. It can look very elegant with ivory, and rustic when paired with wildflowers. It is a deep, enthralling and moody colour, but never overwhelms if cleverly offset.
If you’re not sure what flowers to send, but know that the recipient would like something informal and sweet? Let us select them for you. We’ve added a new item to the online shop called ‘cottage bouquet‘. We will choose the most appropriate beautiful blooms for the occasion. Let us know if you’d prefer soft or bright tones and we’ll do our best to make it super lovely.
We’ve had this new little item up for a short while, and glad to see people are liking it. When you’d like some cute flowers presented nicely in a vase, but don’t want to go overboard, this one is for you.
We’ll make up a selection of nice seasonal blooms of the day, and dress them up schmick as.
Let us know if you’d like any particular colour theme when ordering.
Phone or pop in, or order online here.
We’re often asked “What’s the appropriate thing to send for a sympathy?”.
These days, there really is no specific ‘correct thing’ in terms of flowers, unless the family or individual is known to have a specific preference or dislike of certain blooms.
If in doubt, white and green is always classic, and doesn’t have to be ‘dull and boring’ as is sometimes assumed. We use a lovely selection of blooms of different sizes and textures. But, something colourful is often a lovely idea too, as you are celebrating the life of a person, which is a beautiful, many faceted thing.

Adios amigos. See you soon!
A bold combination of red and yellow flowers. Chunky wildflowers including banksia coccinea and waratah, with luecadendrons, sunflowers, orchids and a couple of roses.
Waratahs are only available for a month or two around October. The coccineas are also only available seasonally.
To order a native and tropical bouquet simply phone or order online.
Who says red and pink can’t go together? We love the bold and vibrant feel to this combination of pinks, almost magenta, and deep reds, combined with lush and textured greenery.
To see some other bouquets check out our online shop.
One of our favourite styles for wedding flowers is the classic mixed white seasonal blooms, complimented with differently textured greenery.
This is an example of an informal, almost hand-picked-look posy, from a May wedding. We have used standard and mini roses, carnations, stock, lisianthus and snapdragons.
To see more of our wedding work, check out out instagram, our portfolio, or come in to see us (but do call first just in case we’re busy).
